Over exfoliation therapy
Over exfoliation implies that skin surface has been removed and vulnerable deeper layers have been exposed. Fast epithelium cells renewal contributes to quick healing (about 2 days). The most affected zones will be the last to heal.
Since over exfoliation problem occurs due to too often peels try not to exfoliate. Therapy should include proper moisturizing even if blemishes will occur to protect your skin from over exfoliation. You will need slight, non-perfumed moisturizer suitable for sensitive skin for that. Choose the one with fewer components.
Employ mild cleanser as a part of therapy. Make sure you don’t peel as long as over exfoliation signs are present. Avoid health-and-beauty aids containing retinol, AHAs and glycolic acid while therapy is being held.
The aloe vera gel is claimed to be efficient over exfoliation treatment. It relieves the sensation of burned soring skin, treats reddening and scabbing possible when over exfoliation occurs. Gradually apply the gel for the next few days for better healing.
Taking facial is a bad idea since it may make things worse and damage your skin.
Avoid acne prescription treatments while healing over exfoliation since they may lead to tough dehydrated skin. The most efficient therapy involves totally organic and natural treatments.
To prevent over exfoliation try not to use fabric on your face. It removes more cells than needed. Apply small amounts of peeling product (subjected to your skin type) to pull off the dead cells.
If therapy described above failed to facilitate fast over exfoliation healing you should consult the doctor on other treatments.
