Natural mechanical skin peel

There are many natural mechanical skin peels such as micro-bead facial scrubs, washcloths, loofahs, cleansing cloths, microdermamitts, squashed shells, sugar or salt crystals and pumice stones are considered to easily remove dead cells from the skin. However such procedure is too harsh and truculent for individuals with sensitive skin. Solid, irregularly shaped granules, for instance crushed oyster shells, seeds and fruit pits, potentially leave tiny superficial lacerations some time later, regular scrapings can make skin hardened and coarse.

Generally the benefits of natural mechanical exfoliation depend on the body part and the skin type. Products containing a coarse, textured natural scrub may be too harsh for the face or vulnerable areas; however they may affect well to oilier types of skin with larger sebaceous glands, allowing the skin to get thicker and be applied with more abrasive scrubs. As well as different natural mechanical skin peels, salt and sugar are considered to be the best natural scrubs for body parts with the thick skin.

Natural facial peels

There are many useful non-abrasive components which are used in bland natural facial skin peel products such as soft fruit seeds, powders, mild clays, soothing colloidal oatmeal, herbs and others. It can be very calming for tender skin to apply a natural exfoliating facial masque.

It’s essential not to over scrub a face choosing a cleanser or scrub. Skin is better to be wet and applied with the product under a little pressure, with gentle circular motions over the face and neck. It’s necessary to avoid tugging or pulling the skin and also avoid the tender eyes area.

Body skin peels

A sugar scrub is a great natural exfoliating product for the other body parts, and more over it can also be used to shave legs. Any little nicks or cuts help to prevent burning during applying of sugar scrubs, as a salt scrub would. One hardly would want to apply a salt scrub for shaving. Sugar is more appropriate for sensitive or tender skin. Size of the granules affect to ability of salt or sugar being applied on skin.

A natural scrub consisting of oil base allows not only exfoliation, but also moisturizing the skin and achieving its normal condition, so there is no need to use moisturizer afterwards. There are some important points to be mentioned while choosing a natural sugar scrub: it’s better to look for healthy components such as organic sugar, essential and cold pressed oils; products made with fragrance oils should be avoided. Finding the scrub which allows the skin to feel more moisturized than it should be, it’s simple to give a quick wash after the exfoliation procedure. A bath mat is offered with using of oil based products.

Feet exfoliation

It is quite normal to apply products with an intensified scrubbing action as well as using body scrubs on feet, either when there is need in extra drying or harder skin. Better of all to use finely crushed nuts(walnuts or almonds), ground pumice and luffa which are natural and useful for feet.

Periods between Treatments

Every product has label instructions, but they are no more that general recommendations, so various type of skin may react different way, in spite of the same treatment. It’s essential to examine skin and if it shows certain signs such as sore or raw after a treatment, there is a need to stop using it rapidly. Sensitive facial skin may be better exfoliated only one or twice per month, and it needs gentle natural peels. The rest body may need a weekly treatment, but if this is too often for skin type, it can be cut to a couple times each month. Before applying skin peels it’s should be found appropriate variant.
